Michael has over 25 years’ experience within the business arena after graduating from the banking sector. He was one of the early graduate initiatives when Barclays first started their Investment Banking arm.
Going from banking to investment broking via property, Michael bought his first business at 28 before selling his shares in order to specifically look after corporate clients and contracts for professional rugby players. He then subsequently bought and grew another investment broking business which housed c100 consultants throughout the UK before selling this some 8 years later.
During this time Michael bought a consultancy business that worked within the corporate space to compliment his existing business and drive additional revenue streams. This was eventually sold in a Management Buy Out. Michael continued to consult and had various executive roles within financial services, specialist contractors and corporate tax mitigating entities.
Having sat on the board of various companies and with a broad corporate consultancy experience, Michael knows first-hand what it takes to run a business, grow a business and handle all the difficulties in between. Having played rugby within the top tier, he knows the importance of teamwork and continual development and brings that to his current role.
