Dr Eric Warner

Dr Eric Warner is Managing Director of Absail Partners Ltd, the specialist consultancy he founded in 2015 to work with early stage and start-up companies.  He brings a significant history of consultancy work to bear of the problems of such companies as they seek to grow into new markets, make new acquisitions, or develop their business. Previously he was Managing Director of Sail Capital Partners Ltd, the corporate advisory arm of Sail dealing with that firm’s sustainable investment portfolio companies from London.  Prior to that he was Co-CEO and Head of Investor Relations for Altius Associates Ltd, and a member of the Altius Board.

Dr Warner 15 years of private equity experience. Prior to joining Altius, Dr Warner spent ten years at Mercer Ltd, the international consulting practice, as Head of European Private Equity and M&A.  He led a European team of 17 professionals performing due diligence and change management consulting on private equity investment companies. He has substantial corporate finance experience from his work in investment banking, previously holding senior positions at Société Générale, NatWest Markets, and Security Pacific Hoare Govett Ltd, where he specialized in capital markets and Financials Institutions coverage.

Dr. Warner is a Member of the Screening Committee of the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels.  He holds a BA magna cum laude in English from Yale University and a DPhil from Oxford.
