Full Biography
Steve is a Forces veteran, serving in the Royal Navy from 1982 to 1989. He then joined the police in 1990 where he spent the next 14 years and enjoyed a varied and multi-disciplined career. After leaving the police force Steve embarked on a career with Thornbury Collections as a Business Development Manager and five years later completed a management buyout of the company and completely transformed it.
The hard work paid off because in 2014 Thornbury Collections finished 2nd in the prestigious Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) National Awards. In 2021 the business was voted in the top 20 of DCAs in the UK by an independent think tank and this year they have been nominated again for the CICM DCA of the year.
